Membership has its privileges! Our mission as your business association is to increase and expand customer awareness, support and increase business growth, and offer assistance in the perception of all Security/Woodlawn area businesses. We offer various seminars and network events for our members throughout the year. In addition, SWBA will continue to be a liaison between the business community, the Baltimore County Police department and the Baltimore county government by assisting the community to obtain needed improvements to roads, lighting, bridges etc, as well as addressing and enhancing the business community's image as perceived by the public. Finally, all business members will have increased exposure to area customers by having a mini ad on the SWVBA.org website.

ALL DUES REMAIN $75.00! Sponsorship levels start at $250.

  1. Business Tax Deduction Joining a Business Association such as SWBA is often a tax deductible business expense. Why not invest that money where you work and/ or live?
  2. Public Safety Awareness Baltimore County Police Officers routinely attend our meetings to keep our members abreast of public safety issues, answer our questions and strengthen our relationships with the police department.
  3. Networking Opportunities Expand your business network by building relationships with other business owners and leaders in the Security Woodlawn community. Explore new business opportunities and work together to identify, find and share solutions to mutual problems.
  4. Increased visibility and improved image. Because of our accomplishments, local residents, employers, employees, and government officials will recognize SWBA members as positive agents of change within this community.
  5. Build Relationships with Baltimore County Government Officials.  Meet key people that work in relevant departments of Baltimore County or directly for our elected representatives who are active participants in our business meetings.  Through such enhanced interactions, you can stay abreast of county laws, pending and proposed revisions, requested changes in zoning, etc.
  6. More publicity for your business.  Your business will be listed on the SWBA website at www.SWVBA.org. A link will be provided to your existing website or expanded business information will be offered.
  7. Tremendous Return on Your Investment.  The cost of becoming a member of SWBA is extremely low when compared with the tangible and intangible ways you will benefit from being a member.  By working together, SWBA members greatly increase the magnitude and impact of our accomplishments as agents of positive change in the community.
  8. Member to Member Discounts All SWBA members who offer discounts to our membership will have that information included on their ads with a link to our membership discount page.
  9. Electricty Cooperative -Save money on your electric bill and have the option to increase your cash flow by opting in additional energy saving programs.
